Stopped in for a quick breakfast and it didn't disappoint! The place feels like grandmas kitchen. The food was delish. I had the special which was 2 pigs in a blanket (sausage wrapped in a pancake) with 2 eggs.

I like this place. There raisin toast is exceptionally yummy. Please note, when I ate here in July 2024, they only took cash or checks. Oddly, I actually had my checkbook on me, so I took a trip to 70s nostalgia.

Tiny place with one of the best breakfasts I have had other than being at home, felt like mom made it! Don't pass it up just because it looks small. The people here are fantastic!

-CASH ONLY- If you're in town, eat here!! Feels like you're eating in a friends dining room. The food was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection and they even gave us a bonus pancake! The woman helping us (maybe the owner) was so sweet, she took her time to chat with us and seemed like she knew every person who walked in. Definitely a gem. Absolutely hands down the best breakfast in town! I go here every single time I am in town I would recommend either the Chicken fried steak or the biscuits and gravy. Honestly can't say enough good things about this place so delicious and filling! 5

We were looking for a good breakfast spot in Pacific City and this place had pretty good reviews. All in all, it was definitely tasty but kind of a weird atmosphere. It is setup almost like someones dining room. It's a very homey atmosphere and the hot food (as well as the wide variety baked goods were all delicious). We split a raspberry Danish to start and then I got Spinach, Bacon, and Cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit. My girlfriend got scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon. Everything was really good. The omelet was perfectly fluffy and the biscuit came with great whipped butter. I would definitely recommend getting that as your "bread". Village COFFEE shoppe loses points for subpar coffee. It was very watered down and I ended up getting coffee from the gas station across the street. PRO TIP: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. And there is no ATM. Be sure to stop somewhere to get cash first. No Venmo or PayPal either. All in all, this was a good breakfast and I liked that we were eating amongst locals as opposed to the yuppies on vacation. With that said, I wish we had tried somewhere else.
